HEALTH & SAFETY
Overview of Continuous Improvement:
Working alongside some of the biggest names in the motor industry means it’s vital that our Health & Safety policies are as strict as they come, but we’re also committed to best practice because it’s something we think our people, our clients and their customers all have a right to expect.
From our choice of products and cleaning technologies right through to site appraisals, waste management and incident documentation, every aspect of our business is run with legal compliance and professional responsibility in mind.
As well as our recent ‘outstanding’ audit results for Quality Management System BS-EN-ISO 9001:2015 accreditation we are also the first business of our kind to achieve ISO 14001:2015 accreditation for Environmental Management.
Autoclenz’s SHE&Q Manager, John Watson, said:
“We were thrilled to have achieved ISO 14001, an industry standard that outlines the requirements needed for Environmental Management Systems. This demonstrates our drive to constantly improve our environmental performance and the certification is a testament to the considerable investment to control and reduce the environmental impact of activities throughout all Divisions of Autoclenz.”
As well as the new Environmental Management System, Management across the Company have successfully completed the IOSH Working Safely qualification and IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
The company have invested in a 5 year programme to implement a bespoke SHE&Q Portal to encourage continuous improvement within the business. After 3 years development we are now able to consider the ISO 45001 Health & Safety Accreditation. Our portal will make this transition seamless and will be enhanced by the recent successful integration of the QMS and EMS into a new IMS.
Rest assured – as a potential supplier for your business, our safety and environmental credentials are second to none.
